This watercolor was painted during the Augusta Plien Air Festival. It was a beautiful spring day in April. The crisp spring air was chilly, but the sun warmed me up as I sat on top of a scenic view at Mount Pleasant Winery. They have a small white Pavillion they use for weddings, which is where I sat as I painted this.
I used watercolors on 9"x12" Khadi Paper. The paper is handmade with a beautiful decked edge that can but hung either in a floating frame, mounted on top of a mat, or matted to hide the edges.
